Legal
Terms of Use
The rules for using this website — short, readable, and honest about what a webpage can and can't promise.
Effective date: August 26, 2026
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and CRC Cloud® ("CRC Cloud," "we," "us") governing your use of this website, crccloud.com. By using the site you accept them, and when you send us a contact note or subscribe to the newsletter the form says so plainly at the point you press the button. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site. They cover the website only.
The website is information, not advice
Everything published here — service pages, pricing, guides, the blog, the compliance library — is provided "as is," for general information. It is not legal, compliance, insurance, financial, or other professional advice for your specific situation, and reading it does not make CRC Cloud your IT provider or advisor. Compliance obligations in particular turn on facts no webpage can know; decisions about your obligations belong with your own counsel, auditors, and advisors.
Client reviews and case studies on this site describe real engagements, anonymized by policy. They are individual experiences, not a promise that your results will match.
Published pricing is real and current as of its publication date; the exact scope and pricing of any engagement are confirmed in a written agreement before work begins.
Services are governed by signed agreements — not these terms
Managed IT, cybersecurity, private cloud, and every other CRC Cloud service engagement is governed by a separately signed agreement — master service agreement, statement of work, and service-level terms. Nothing on this website, and nothing in these Terms of Use, by itself creates a service contract or a client relationship. That is not a way of taking back what we publish: the commitments we advertise — the published rates, the 5% annual cap on increases, the service-failure exit, $0 onboarding and $0 offboarding — are written into the service agreement you sign, in those terms. If a page on this site and a signed agreement ever appear to conflict, the signed agreement controls, and we will fix the page.
Using the site
Use the site lawfully, and leave it working for the next visitor. You agree not to:
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the site or its infrastructure, or attempt to bypass any security measure — we notice;
- interfere with the site's operation or burden it with automated traffic intended to degrade it;
- misrepresent who you are or your affiliation when contacting us;
- use the contact form or booking calendar to send spam, malware, or unlawful content;
- harvest content or data by automated means in violation of applicable law.
If someone does those things, we may block their access — by address, by network, or by whatever means is proportionate — without notice, and doing so isn't a breach of anything on our side. In practice this is aimed at bots and attackers, not at people. If you think you've been blocked by mistake, call us and we'll sort it out.
Free tools on this site
We publish free diagnostic tools — for example the domain and email security check. They read information that the domain owner has published publicly in DNS, and the certificate a web server presents to any visitor. They do not scan ports, probe for vulnerabilities, attempt to authenticate, or send anything to the domain being checked.
Two conditions apply when you use them:
- Check domains you own or administer, or ones whose owner has asked you to look. The lookups are of public records and are lawful, but the results are still someone's operational detail — don't use them to build a target list.
- Treat the output as information, not as an assurance. It is a point-in-time reading of public records. It is not a security audit, not a penetration test, and not a warranty that a domain is or isn't secure. Records change, and email authentication is one control among many. Nothing a tool on this site reports creates a professional relationship or a duty of care, and we give no warranty as to its accuracy or completeness — the No warranties and Limitation of liability sections below apply to the tools exactly as they apply to the rest of the site.
We rate-limit the tools. If you hit a limit you'll be told so plainly; it isn't personal, and calling us still works.
Intellectual property
CRC Cloud®, Where Security Meets Innovation®, and TPAIT® are registered trademarks of the company. Nothing on this site grants any license to use them.
The content of this site — text, artwork and illustrations, video, page design, and code — is owned by CRC Cloud or used with permission, and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view, download, and print pages for your own internal business use. Republishing site content, scraping it into commercial products, or otherwise reproducing it for commercial purposes requires our written permission — ask through the contact page; we're reachable and reasonable.
Third-party links & embedded services
The site links to and embeds third-party services: YouTube's privacy-enhanced video player, the Microsoft Bookings scheduling calendar, Google reCAPTCHA on the contact form, an optional AI chat assistant (responses generated by our AI provider and offered as-is — confirm anything important with us directly), our social and podcast profiles, and sources cited in articles. Those services belong to their operators and are governed by their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them. What they collect and when is described in our Privacy Policy.
No warranties
The website is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties about the website and its content, express or implied. That includes the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. It also includes any warranty that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that its information is complete or current. We work hard to keep this site accurate and honest; as a legal matter, though, a webpage is not a warranty.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: (a) CRC Cloud will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website; and (b) our total aggregate liability for claims arising out of the website will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).
Two honest boundaries on that: this limitation applies to the website only and does not limit obligations under any signed service agreement; and nothing in these terms limits liability that applicable law does not allow to be limited. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
If you cause us a problem
If you misuse this website — the specific things listed under Using the site, or any other unlawful use — and a third party brings a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and damages we actually incur as a result. This is deliberately narrow on purpose: it covers your misuse of this website and nothing else. It does not touch ordinary visitors reading pages, it does not reach anything governed by a signed service agreement, and we will tell you promptly if such a claim ever arises so you can be involved in handling it.
Governing law & venue
These terms, and any dispute arising from use of this website, are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Venue lies exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and both parties consent to jurisdiction there. That's also where we are — and you can always just call first; most website questions don't need a courtroom.
Changes
We may revise these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top reflects the latest revision, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms. When these terms change, it's because something real changed.
The boring-but-necessary clauses
- Severability: if any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest keep working.
- No waiver: if we don't enforce a provision today, we haven't given it up.
- Entire terms, website scope: these terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement about website use — and only about website use.
- Headings are for reading, not for interpretation.
