How It Actually Goes When Things Go Wrong

The value of managed security shows up on the worst day — the intrusion at 1 a.m., the wire that was almost redirected, the server that failed in April. These are accounts of real engagements that walk through how we handle exactly those moments.

Two engagements, start to finish

Each study follows the same arc: the situation, what we found, what we did, and the outcome.

These are accounts of real engagements CRC Cloud delivered. Identifying details are generalized and no client is named. We withhold client names by policy; a public client list would tell attackers exactly who is protected by whom. For verbatim, first-party client quotes, see our reviews page, and named references are available privately during any serious evaluation.

Why we don’t name names

Security through discretion is a policy, not an accident. We publish role and industry, never a customer roster, because a public list of who we protect is reconnaissance for an attacker. It’s the same reason we keep our toolset and our datacenter’s exact location confidential. When you’re evaluating us seriously, we arrange reference calls with current clients who have agreed to take them. See the reviews & why we anonymize →
