Book Your Free 30-Minute IT Assessment
Thirty minutes with CRC Cloud’s CEO — the owner, not a salesperson. We walk your environment together (headcount, servers, endpoints, key vendors, and how IT and security are handled today), and you leave with a clear read on your posture and a ballpark monthly number. It follows the NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 — a real assessment, not a pitch.
Nine clients reviewed us word for word — one relationship at “well over 15 years.” Our roots go back to 1983, and the catalogs and press are scanned in public. Read all nine →
What one call covers
- A plain-English read on your setup — where you're solid, where you're exposed, based on what you tell us. No software installs.
- A cost benchmark against our published pricing ($125–$250 per user/month) and 2026 SoCal market rates.
- Answers to your actual questions — insurance forms, an aging server, a suspicious email, a renewal you're unsure about.
- Two or three quick wins you can act on this week — yours to keep either way.
Pick a time
Choose a slot that works and it's confirmed instantly — the invite lands on your calendar and ours, with the call details included. No back-and-forth email chain.

What happens after you book
- You get a confirmation with the call link and a one-line agenda.
- We talk for 30 minutes. CRC Cloud’s CEO walks your environment with you — users, servers, vendors, cloud — and you get real numbers.
- You decide what's next. If you want a fixed written number instead of a ballpark, the next step is a full IT discovery — a published fee, credited in full against your first invoice if you come aboard. What it produces, and what it costs by the size of your environment, is below. You keep all of it either way.
What the IT discovery actually produces
Most providers' “assessments” scan the network and hand back a findings list. Published industry guides put a real assessment for a 50–200-person business at $5,000–$25,000 and warn that anything under $2,500 is usually a sales motion rather than an engagement. Ours is a real engagement at the bottom of that range, and it covers the part almost nobody documents: the commercial layer, where small businesses actually bleed money.
- A written inventory of everything you own. Every computer, server, firewall, switch, access point, phone and printer — plus every account, license, subscription and vendor. Most businesses have never seen theirs written down in one place.
- A schematic of each office and a bird's-eye view of the whole stack. What connects to what, where your data actually lives, and what stops working if any one piece fails.
- The commercial layer, mapped. Contracts, leases, warranties, licenses and cloud subscriptions — what you're paying for, what renews when, what auto-renews, and what you're paying for twice. This is the section clients tell us paid for the engagement by itself.
- A cybersecurity posture read. Where you're exposed, ranked by what would hurt most, with what it would take to close each gap.
- Immediate needs and an upgrade path. What is genuinely urgent, what can wait a budget cycle, and what is fine as it is — separated, so you can plan instead of react.
- A fixed written quote, priced off the published rate card on this site, that doesn't move.
It's yours outright. Take it to another provider if you like — it will make their quote more honest too. And if you come aboard, the full amount comes off your first invoice, so the net cost of finding out is $0.
What the discovery costs — published, by environment
Priced to the size and shape of your environment, the same way everything else on our rate card is. Every tier is credited in full against your first invoice, so if you hire us the discovery is free and if you don't, you keep a document worth far more than you paid.
| Tier | Your environment | Fixed fee |
|---|---|---|
| Essentials | One site, cloud-first, up to 25 people, no on-premises servers | $1,500 |
| Standard | Up to two sites and two servers, up to 50 people | $2,500 |
| Complex | Multi-site, on-premises servers, or a regulated environment (HIPAA, PCI, CMMC and the like), up to 75 people | $4,500 |
Complex adds a compliance-gap read against the framework that governs you, a schematic for every site, and a phased remediation roadmap. Larger than 75 people, or genuinely unusual? We scope it the same way and put the fee in writing before any work begins — no surprises, ever. For comparison, published industry guides put an assessment this thorough at $5,000–$25,000; ours is capped below that on purpose, and credited back in full.
The no-obligation promise
No pitch deck. No pressure. No "special pricing that expires Friday" — our pricing is public and it's the same for everyone. We'll lay out options and honest numbers; the decision stays yours. It's how we'd want to be treated, so it's how we run the call.
Want to get the most from the call?
Nothing is required, but if you have them handy, these sharpen the benchmark:
- Rough headcount and number of locations
- Who handles IT today (provider, staff member, "whoever's free")
- Your biggest recurring annoyance
- Any renewal dates — IT contract, cyber insurance, expiring hardware
FAQ
Is the IT assessment really free? What's the catch?
Really free, and there isn't one. Thirty minutes on the phone costs us little and starts relationships well. Some calls become clients; plenty just leave with better questions for their current provider. Both are fine with us.
Who will I actually talk to?
The owner — CRC Cloud's CEO, himself a working engineer who is on client systems daily and can answer technical questions on the spot. Not a commissioned salesperson reading a script.
Do I need to prepare anything?
No. Headcount and a sense of your current setup are enough. If you have a specific worry — an insurance questionnaire, a strange email, a server making noises — bring it.
Will you try to sell me something?
We'll show you our published pricing and where you'd fit, if you ask. That's the extent of it. Options, not ultimatums — you decide, on your timeline.
We already have an IT provider. Is this still useful?
Especially then. You'll get an independent benchmark of your costs and coverage — useful at renewal, and only fair to your current provider to know. We also work alongside existing IT teams in co-managed arrangements.
Can the assessment happen on-site instead?
The 30-minute phone call comes first — it respects your time and gives us the core picture, plus a ballpark number against our published rates. If you want a precise written quote, the next step is a paid IT discovery — a published fee by the size of your environment ($1,500 to $4,500, usually on-site; the tiers are on this page) — credited in full against your first invoice when you come aboard, so the real cost of finding out is zero.
