Private Cloud Hosting in Orange County — On Infrastructure We Own and Operate

The difference shows up on the day something breaks. When the platform is somebody else’s, your provider opens a ticket and waits, and so do you. Ours runs in a Southern California datacenter held to published standards, with disaster recovery from a second site we operate — and at 2 a.m., the decision is ours to make.

Cloud Complete puts your desktops, servers, applications and data on that platform. It is a decision about where your systems run, not a security tier — so it sits on either of our plans: $175 per user per month with Core IT, or $300 with Secure IT and its 24/7 SOC — each with a shared hosted desktop. Hosted servers and storage are itemized at published rates.

We own the cloud your business runs on

Most IT providers resell someone else’s cloud. We run our own — and that changes three things you’ll feel: your invoice (a fixed monthly number, not metered usage that spikes), your 2 a.m. call (the people who answer own the hardware), and your leverage (your workloads are never hostage to a hyperscaler’s price change).

The infrastructure itself: hardware we own in a Southern California datacenter held to published standards, with disaster recovery from a second site we operate included (backup and Rapid recovery are published options). No mystery middlemen — when something matters, accountability ends with us.

What Cloud Complete includes

  • Everything in the plan you choose — Core IT, or Secure IT for the same plus the 24/7 SOC, MDR, SIEM, application allowlisting, an annual vendor risk review and dark-web monitoring. Secure IT is required for any compliance program (HIPAA, CMMC, SOC 2, PCI, FTC Safeguards, IRS WISP, DOL, ALTA, legal confidentiality, SEC/FINRA) and recommended for insured businesses
  • A hosted desktop for each person — a private, isolated session on an all-SSD session host built for your company alone, in shared or dedicated form
  • A managed cloud firewall protecting your hosted environment
  • Private cloud hosting for servers, hosted desktops, applications and file storage — hosted servers and storage itemized at published rates
  • Disaster recovery included: a nightly copy at our second site, ready to start, with an 8-hour recovery target — backup and Rapid recovery are published options
  • Migration off aging on-premises servers or out of the public cloud, at published project rates — a server move into our cloud is credited against your first twelve invoices
  • Capacity planning and hardware lifecycle handled by us, invisible to you
  • One monthly number that doesn’t spike when someone downloads a big file

The four published rates

Cloud Complete is a hosting decision, not a security tier. It sits on whichever plan you already chose, so the price is always that plan plus the desktop — which is why there are four numbers rather than one. Nothing about the security layer changes when you host with us.

Cloud Complete, per user per month. Last updated October 2026.
Your desktop On Core IT
managed IT
On Secure IT
adds the 24/7 SOC
Your own equipment, at your offices no hosting — the baseline$125$250
Shared session private, isolated, on a host built for your company$175$300
Dedicated desktop a machine of your own$210$335

Hosting a single application or website rather than your whole environment? That is managed VPS and web hosting, priced separately. The arithmetic is deliberately open: the hosted desktop is $50 shared or $85 dedicated, added to the plan rate. Disaster recovery from our second site and one managed cloud firewall are included at every Cloud Complete rate above ($175–$335). The servers that run your hosted environment — along with backup and Rapid recovery — are itemized separately. See every published rate →

Our datacenter, by the numbers

We don’t publish the address — that’s policy, and it’s part of the protection. We do publish what it’s held to:

Our infrastructure runs in a Southern California facility engineered to a concurrently maintainable design, whose operator holds SOC 1 and SOC 2 Type II attestations, ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS certifications and NIST 800-53 (PE) High alignment, with N+1 redundant power and cooling. The 99.9% uptime service level on hosted systems is a CRC Cloud commitment. If we miss it, we send a written report of the cause and the fix within 10 business days. Below 99.9% twice in six months, or below 99.0% in any month, you can leave with no early-exit charge. We don’t use fee credits.

Disaster recovery included

Every environment we host is copied to our second site every night and kept ready to start there. If our main site has a failure we can’t fix quickly, we start your servers at the second site from the latest copy. Our recovery target is 8 hours, and you could lose changes made since the last nightly copy. Running at the second site, and moving back, cost nothing extra. We test failover every year. Both sites are in Southern California; for protection against a region-wide disaster, ask about our Multi-Region option. Recovery times are targets, not guarantees.

  • Concurrently maintainable design
  • SOC 1 & SOC 2 Type II attestations
  • ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS certifications
  • N+1 redundant power and cooling — and, on our hosted systems, a 99.9% uptime service level that is our own commitment
  • A redundant server pool behind every workload — redundant network switches, power, internet paths, storage and compute, so a single component failure is absorbed rather than passed on to you
  • Carrier-neutral, multi-homed network with multiple upstream providers
  • Layered physical security with 24/7 staffing and monitored surveillance
  • A second site we operate, in a separate access-controlled building in the same region, so a second copy of your environment doesn’t live in the same building as the first. The replica is a second copy, not a backup with restore points.

The honest math: when owning your cloud wins

The big public clouds are brilliant for spiky, unpredictable workloads. For the steady-state systems most businesses actually run — file servers, line-of-business apps, accounting systems, remote desktops — metered pricing quietly becomes the most expensive way to buy computing. Egress fees, per-transaction charges, and instance creep can turn a modest monthly estimate into a much larger invoice.

Private cloud flips the model: a fixed monthly price for the capacity you use, with security and management built in. If part of your stack genuinely belongs in the public cloud, we’ll say so rather than force it into ours. Options, not ultimatums.

Cloud repatriation, without the drama

Cloud repatriation — moving workloads back out of the public cloud — is a conversation more businesses are having, usually triggered by the third surprise invoice. Our migrations run like our onboarding: 2–4 weeks, overlapped, with your current environment running until the new one is proven. Nothing is switched off until its replacement is tested.

Common triggers we see: public-cloud bills growing faster than headcount · aging on-premises servers due for replacement · end-of-support deadlines for server operating systems · an insurer or auditor asking where, exactly, the data lives.

Six private cloud deployment models shown as connected tiles: single cloud, hybrid, multi-cloud, multi-region, colocation, and dedicated

Six ways to deploy

One size fits nobody. Cloud Complete comes in six standard deployment models — and the assessment tells you which one fits:

  • Single Cloud — one of each server your business actually needs, sized at discovery. Whatever that set turns out to be, there is one of each rather than a spare
  • Hybrid — your on-premises or legacy systems extended into our private cloud, connected securely and managed as one
  • Multi-Cloud — a second copy of the servers you cannot afford to lose, replicating live and load-balanced, with both copies inside CRC Cloud rather than spread across different cloud providers. If the one handling logins or files fails or gets overloaded, its twin is built to carry the work without an outage. Which servers get a twin is your call at discovery
  • Multi-Region — the same live redundancy as Multi-Cloud, with distance between the copies: the second set of servers runs in a datacenter in another region, arranged for your requirement, so no single facility holds both
  • Colocation — your hardware in the facility we operate in, managed clients only, quoted at discovery
  • Dedicated — your own cabinet in our datacenter. We architect a new system or relocate your existing one into it, and we manage it for you

Colocation is available to managed clients, with space and power confirmed at discovery: bring your own hardware into the same racks, in the same facility and keep every advantage of the facility — the redundancy, the physical security, and the same 24/7 monitoring and management discipline our own private cloud runs on.

Built for data-sensitive industries

Escrow and real estate firms with wire-fraud exposure. Accounting firms and TPAs holding other people’s financials. Law firms with confidentiality obligations. Manufacturers who can’t afford a down production line. Nonprofits guarding donor data. When “where is our data?” needs a real answer, “in our Southern California datacenter held to published standards, copied nightly to a second site we operate” is a good one. For the regulated firms on that list, Cloud Complete sits on Secure IT — $300 per user per month with a shared desktop, or $335 with a dedicated one.

FAQ

Can we colocate our own servers with CRC Cloud?

Yes, for managed clients — quoted at discovery, on a term matched to your deployment. Your hardware lives in the carrier-neutral Southern California facility we operate in, built to a concurrently maintainable design, with the same redundancy, physical security, and 24/7 monitoring and management our own private cloud runs on. Because we provision dedicated capacity for each colocation client, available space and power are confirmed during discovery rather than assumed. It’s the right call when licensing, control, or compliance genuinely demands your own metal — and Dedicated gives you your own cabinet, which we architect (or relocate your existing system into) and manage for you.

What is private cloud hosting, and how is it different from the public cloud?

Private cloud hosting runs your systems on dedicated infrastructure operated by one provider — in our case, on hardware CRC Cloud owns in a Southern California datacenter built to a concurrently maintainable design, whose operator holds SOC 2 Type II attestation and ISO 27001 certification. Public cloud is shared, metered infrastructure from a hyperscaler. Private cloud trades elastic scale for predictable cost, dedicated performance, and one accountable operator.

How much does private cloud hosting cost?

Cloud Complete starts at $175 per user per month. It is a hosting decision rather than a service tier, so it sits on whichever plan you choose: $175 on Core IT, $300 on Secure IT with its 24/7 SOC — in both cases the plan rate plus a $50 shared hosted desktop, or $85 for a dedicated one. Hosted servers are published by machine size from $110 to $560 per month, with additional processor, memory and storage priced by the unit, and backup priced by retention. Every rate is on our pricing page. If you want to host servers but keep local PCs, that is your plan plus published server rates — often less, and we will tell you which is cheaper for your situation. Compare the total against your public-cloud bill or a server-replacement project — we will do the math with you.

Where is your datacenter?

Southern California — and that’s as specific as we get publicly. Not disclosing our datacenter location is a deliberate security policy that protects every client hosted there. We share specifics with serious prospects under NDA, and the facility’s design standard (concurrently maintainable design) and its operator’s credentials (SOC 1/2 Type II attestations; ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS certifications) are verifiable.

What is cloud repatriation?

Moving workloads from the public cloud back to private infrastructure. Businesses repatriate when steady workloads make metered billing irrational — commonly cutting hosting costs meaningfully while gaining fixed pricing. We handle the migration in 2–4 weeks, overlapped so nothing goes dark.

What happens if the datacenter loses power or connectivity?

It’s engineered not to: our infrastructure runs in a Southern California facility engineered to a concurrently maintainable design with N+1 redundant power and cooling, and a carrier-neutral multi-homed network. The 99.9% uptime service level on hosted systems is our own commitment. Beyond that, disaster recovery is included: your environment is copied to our second site every night and kept ready to start there, with an 8-hour recovery target, tested every year. Rapid recovery, with hourly copies and a 4-hour target, is priced openly on the rate card. Targets, not guarantees.

Can we keep some systems in the public cloud?

Yes. Some systems genuinely belong in the public cloud, and we will tell you which ones rather than move everything for the sake of it. Our Hybrid model, one of six standard deployment models, is for the on-premises or legacy systems you are keeping: they are extended into our private cloud, connected securely and managed as one.
