Disaster recovery, not just backup
A backup answers "do we still have the data?" Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) answers the harder question: "how fast can we operate again?" By replicating servers to a geo-separate site and rehearsing the restore in advance, we shrink downtime from days to minutes or hours — the difference between a hiccup and a headline.
Our infrastructure runs in a Southern California facility engineered to a concurrently maintainable, Tier III-standard design, whose operator holds SOC 1 and SOC 2 Type II attestations, ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS certifications and NIST 800-53 (PE) High alignment, with N+1 redundant power and cooling and a 99.9% uptime service level.
A published add-on on either plan
Cloud backup is a published add-on on either the Core IT or Secure IT plan — Secure IT includes Microsoft 365 backup at one-year immutable retention, and server and endpoint backup carry their own published rates. Cloud Complete adds nightly geo-separate replication — a second copy of your environment in the other facility — on infrastructure we own (live, continuously synchronized twins are the Multi-Cloud option at +15% on hosted lines). What's the difference between backup and disaster recovery (DRaaS)?
Backup makes protected copies of your data. Disaster recovery brings your whole environment back online quickly after an outage, hardware failure, or ransomware event. Our Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) pairs replication with tested recovery so you resume operations in minutes to hours, not days.
Are backups encrypted and protected against ransomware?
Yes. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and we keep immutable copies that ransomware cannot alter or delete. PC backup runs near-continuously, so a compromised device can be rolled back to a clean point rather than lost.
Do you back up cloud email and collaboration files?
Yes. Cloud email and collaboration platforms are not fully backed up by the provider by default, so we add automated backup of email, attachments, calendars, contacts, and shared files. If an account is deleted or a mailbox is compromised, the data is still recoverable.
How long do you keep our backups?
Retention is customizable, from short-term operational recovery to long-term archival that satisfies compliance and insurer requirements. We build the schedule around your industry's rules and your recovery goals.
How do you know a backup will actually restore?
Because we test it. Backups are monitored, with alerts on status and failures, and recovery is verified on a schedule instead of assumed. A backup you have never restored is a guess, not a plan.
