Cloud Computing

Every business has needs, and yours is no different. Your people need to stay connected, and you need to maintain essential security and control. So why not have both? Make productivity easier by giving everyone endless ways to work and collaborate from anywhere at any time and on any device. In the cloud, you make the rules.

Cloud computing is the delivery of computing as a service rather than a product, whereby shared resources, software, and information are provided to computers and other devices as a utility (like the electricity grid) over a network (typically the Internet).
Cloud computing is a technology that uses the internet and central remote servers to maintain data and applications. Cloud computing allows consumers and businesses to use applications without installation and access their personal files on any computer with internet access. This technology allows for much more efficient computing by centralizing storage, memory, processing, and bandwidth.

A simple example of cloud computing is Yahoo email or Gmail etc. You don’t need software or a server to use them. All consumers need an internet connection, and you can start sending emails. The server and email management software is all on the cloud (internet) and is totally managed by the cloud service provider.

Public Cloud

A public cloud is based on the standard cloud computing model, in which a service provider makes resources, such as applications and storage, available to the general public over the Internet. Public cloud services may be free or offered on a pay-per-usage model.
The main benefits of using a public cloud service are:
• Easy and inexpensive set-up because the provider covers hardware, application, and bandwidth costs.
• Scalability to meet needs.
• No wasted resources because you pay for what you use.
Public cloud describes cloud computing in the traditional mainstream sense, whereby resources are dynamically provisioned to the general public on a fine-grained, self-service basis over the Internet via web applications/web services from an off-site third-party provider who bills on a fine-grained utility computing basis.

Private Cloud

Private cloud is infrastructure operated solely for a single organization, whether managed internally or by a third party and hosted internally or externally.

Hybrid Cloud

Hybrid cloud is a composition of two or more clouds (private, community, or public) that remain unique entities but are bound together, offering the benefits of multiple deployment models.
